How did we get to be travel agents?
Well let’s start at the beginning……
I feel as though our love for Disney and travel has been one that has been building our whole lives. For me, growing up in the 80’s and 90’s I watched the Disney channel and fell in love with the Disney. I’m old enough to remember watching the reruns of Walt Disney, himself, talking about the rides like Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean, the parks Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I remember thinking that one day I’ll go there and see it. Well the first real trip Eric asked me to go on with him was to Walt Disney World. I loved it! Even with the lack-lusted self appointed tour guy we had, a friend at the time who didn’t share my love for Disney or realize it was my first time there.
Now we have done it all when it comes to our trips from sleeping on a friend’s couch, to staying at a cheap hotel offsite to being in a villa onsite at Walt Disney World with trips ranging from being just the two of us, to some trips having our three kids to others trips bringing our mothers with us, one of which is handicapped.
We also traveled beyond Walt Disney World and have done Cruises, Canada, Universal, Disneyland, and several other places though the U.S.A
Meanwhile….While I was dreaming of traveling beyond my little state, my husband had been traveling to Walt Disney World for as long as he could remember. He remembers being there when classics like Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and Snow White’s Scary Adventure were popular attractions. They can both still be found at Disneyland in California.
He still loves traveling. He has been to Europe, Aruba, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, and most of the United States. Can’t forget that about the cruises we have been with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line,and Virgin Voyages.
